Protection and Professional Service – Inpatient Care at ASB

Offering those entrusted to us a comfortable home while concomitantly providing them with optimal and state-of-the-art care is a challenge the ASB care facilities’ teams are successfully meeting day by day. Our fully booked residences are modern and functional, but still a place where our residents can meet and communicate and feel at home.

The Confederation and the affiliated organisations run seven residential nursing care facilities throughout the river Ruhr area, each of which pursues a different conceptual focus. Several facilities are specialised in providing care and support for people suffering from dementia, other units assist people requiring respiratory care or extremely young people, who are in need of care due to anaccident or severe illness.

The residential and support centre called “Spaces of Living” is unparalleled throughout the entire region and its architecture meets the needs of people suffering from dementia. In this centre 27 patients are living together forming residential groups, in which the patients’ private daily routine has been reproduced as accurately as possible.

Heyermanns Hof, on the other hand, is a support centre, where people suffering from drugaddiction and mental illness receive treatment after having undergone detoxification. Hereby, counselling andoccupational therapy dominate the residents’ daily routine.
